Back with the Underbelly Hours blog to fill in a few time gaps over this crazy, awesome, action-packed last year! Today - Highlights from November 2017's interview with the fabulous Girl Named Nino! This fascinating musician and human being stopped by the studio to plug her newest release, Moonlight Daughter, alongside partner and musician Pablo Gordy.

Nino Arobelidze aka Girl Named Nino is a Georgian born songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Chicago. Nino received her formal music education from DePaul University but maintains the core of her knowledge to be largely DIY.

Commanding several languages for writing and performing original music (English, her native Georgian and Russian, among others), Nino's sound most distinctly embodies Soul, Alternative Pop, Indie Rock and WorldJazz.
